EBC Cares is committed to empowering the next generation by providing financial support to students pursuing higher education. Our scholarship program is designed to assist deserving students in achieving their academic and career goals, helping them to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.
2024 EBC Cares Scholarship
Amount: $17,500 total awarded
In 2024, EBC Cares awarded scholarships totaling $17,500 to seven outstanding students. Each recipient received $2,500 to support their continuing education plans. This year, we implemented an online application portal, allowing students to easily submit their documents and for our committee to review nearly 60 applications efficiently."
Eligibility
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or a student enrolled in a full-time (12+ hour) undergraduate program. Eligible students must have applied to, been accepted by, or be attending a four-year college or university/undergraduate program
Selection Criteria
Applicants are required to complete the online application. Upon submission, applicants will receive instructions to submit a video (maximum of 2 minutes) addressing the following points:
- Short-term and long-term goals.
- Why you should receive the scholarship.
- Financial need and any other financial support received to date.
- Additional information you'd like the scholarship committee to know about you.
