Rhode Island Reds

New Additions

We now have Rhode Island Red chickens that will soon produce organic brown eggs, expanding our sustainable practices.

Sustainability Practices

Organic Everything

We use plant-based fertilizers and pesticides, bamboo trellises, wood chip mulch, and a drip irrigation system for water conservation.

Waste Management

Waste: (Organic) Composting 50 lbs/month, including plant scraps, leaves, and organic chicken manure. (Non-Organic Waste:) 20 lbs/month picked up biweekly.

Water Usage

Our drip irrigation system minimizes water waste, delivering moisture directly to plant roots to enhance productivity.

Pest Control

We utilize natural solutions, including a mix of Castile soap, neem oil, and water, along with companion planting with marigolds and onions.
