When I am not cultivating crops, I am growing young minds as a school counselor. I love serving as a volunteer on the farm. The Nede Cascade Urban Farm is filled with so many hands-on learning opportunities. For example, one weekend we learned about the benefits of Clover as a cover crop while we cleared beds in preparation for new planting.

The farm has given me an opportunity to expand my passion for growing and apply new skills for the benefit of ministry. I think it’s a beautiful vision and I feel blessed to be a part of it.
